About

FC 59s vision as a club is to provide a developmental pathway for players who hope to learn and develop in order to progress.

Too long the gap from local Sunday League football to Professional Academy football has been too big; we aim to bridge that gap.

Through our expert coaching, professional curriculum and challenging games programme, we aim to build a professional club academy experience for grassroots players.

Through this experience players will improve their skills, develop their games and hopefully graduate on to professional clubs.

Our FC 59 Coaching Programme is led by our 2 most experienced coaches.

These coaches have experience in both professional club academy football, and semi-professional adult football.

With both coaches still currently involved in Professional clubs, they are in the best position to understand the standards the players need to meet to acheive their goals.

Players will not only work to a carefully planned curriculum to help their all round game, but also have their own Individual Development Plan to designed to their own indiviudal needs.

Challenging Games Programme

FC 59 participate in the Junior Premier League.

This provides our players the toughest and most challenging games programme possible, playing against teams such as York City, Chesterfield, Scarborough and Guiseley.

On top of these league and cup competitions, FC 59 will play friendly fixtures against professional club academies, to provide our players another different challenge.
